A Visit
"Brothers and Sisters, hand in hand, peace and unity," Betul Tas said expressing the theme of all the Turkish students' experience at Charter. When they arrived they quickly noticed the lack of uniforms and confusing sculptures alongside the Benvenuti. "I don't really understand them, but they're interesting,"Ozan Ciftci explained, a response many Charter students agree with. But that's not the only thing we all had in common. From laughing at bad jokes to playing loud drum solos when you think no one's listening, like Erdi Ekici, we all realized how well we got along and shared a beautiful experience getting to know one another as people.
