American Artist, also known around Charter as A.A., was a major English project for juniors. Students had to pick an artist that influenced America and then prove how their artist did that. Students picked artists that have influenced their own art form in some way or another. These artists consisted of musicians, visual artists, dancers, fashion designers, singers and many more. Each student would then present their artist to their English class to explain how they influenced America and whom they impacted with their art form. After presenting their artist, the student would emulate something that their artist did. Some students chose to stick to their artist’s art form when making their emulation but others created the art using a different art form. This was done through, not only song, but through dance and pictures too. These presentations went from the 28th of March through the 15th of April.
