Every year Mr. Steve Schumpelt’'s Biology classes learn about eggs and the embryonic process, as well as getting to witness the process of hatching. He brings in 24 fertilized eggs, which take 21 days to hatch. This year 10 out of 24 eggs hatched successfully. Those that did not hatch were due to waiting too long to put them in the incubator that provides warmth for the chicks. Students picked names for the chicks, including “Nugget” and “Gandhi”.
