A group of sophomores (the class of 2012) realized one day that the class is not very united. Spring Break was coming up, and the students came up with the idea of having a Sophomore Picnic. The picnic wasn't strictly for sophomores; many high school and middle school students, along with students that don't even go to Natomas Charter School, attended the event. The sophomore class provided the food and drinks and came up with fun games and activities to unite the group. The Photography class also benefitted by snapping some great pictures of the park and students. People made new friends, ate food, and celebrated the two weeks they were about to get off.
